More and more research projects in social sciences work from a digital corpus. In order to use and interpret this digital data, one needs to think about it as soon as the project begins. The Labex Arts-H2H wants to help research teams during the steps needed to create a digital corpus: establishement of a pattern, documentation, enrichment and archiving.
Methodological & technical support when creating a digital corpus (data structure, enrichement, metadata…)
Providing a plaform to document and release research data (Labex Arts-H2H database)
Supporting a more complex archiving process involving national institutions, partners and infrastructures.
Creating a content and database management tool: Omeka…
Providing the dedicated server of the Labex Arts-H2H (Mysql database, web server)
Offering methodological tools for researchers in various disciplines. Supporting and encouraging new digital practices in producing and sharing knowledge.
Technical training on a series of methodological tools or software: Gephi, OpenRefine, databases, etc.
Weekly newsletter related to the “Nouvelles Fabriques”: a selection of the latest news in digital humanities.
Reviews, methodological resources, indicative bibliographies: www.labex-arts-h2h.fr/ressources (to be released).
A certain number of tools is provided to researchers, in order to make communication and collaboration easier in their research projects.
Every project can ask for an autonomous website, to enhance their visibility.
Newsletter by email, to communicate internally or externally.
Storage and sharing service for local copies of online files.
Promotion of research results could lean on digital devices involving new practices and exhibition forms. In order to build a digital strategy to publish these resources, we offer the projects:
Helping to establish the specifications for a digital project.
Designing and developing a technical device for promotion/exhibition.
